Traditional Temple Honours to Kanchi Acharyas at Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Tirumala- 6/1/2017
Since centuries, Jagadguru Sankaracharya Swamigals of Sri Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam are accorded traditional temple honours at Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple Tirumala, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple Srirangam, Sri Parthasarathy Temple Tiruvallikeni, Sri Raja Gopalaswamy Mannargudi and several other ancient Kshetras in our country.
This video-record contains traditional temple honours being accorded to Kanchi Acharyas on 6/1/2017 at Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Tirumala with Purnakumbha Swagatam, Mangala Vadyam, Ishtikapal by Archaka Swamis & Temple Management including Chairman, Executive Officer & others under the Ashvatha Vruksha, then taken around Bedi Anjaneya Swami Temple. With Elephants & other paraphernalia, all the traditional customs are followed in receiving the Acharyas who have traditional right to perform Chamara Seva to Sri Venkateshwara Swamy inside the Garbha Gruham. This custom in now being followed annually.
